The Rosebuds is a "place of women who can help you accept your fatigue and trust your limitations, and to know, in the dark of winter, that your energy will return as surely as the spring."
(Quotation courtesy of Judith Duerk from Circle of Stones - Innisfree Press)
The Rosebuds Breast Cancer Support Group started in 1991. We currently have two groups, Rosebuds I and Rosebuds II. Our Rosebuds I group is open to ALL breast cancer patients/survivors. This group meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month. Our Rosebuds II group is more specialized and is appropriate for those who have had, or are at high risk for recurrence and/or metastasis. Rosebuds II meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Our two groups join together for our listserv, parties and occassional speakers. We have an annual holiday party in December, a birthday party in February, and a pot luck in the summer.
