The Rosebuds is a "place of women who can help you accept your fatigue and trust your limitations, and to know, in the dark of winter, that your energy will return as surely as the spring."

The Rosebuds support group started in 1991 and ran continuously until this year (2016)...25 years!! This year we merged with the Baylor Breast Cancer Support Group. Our meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month and all newly diagnosed and survivors from the entire community of hospital systems are welcome. The meetings are from 5:30PM until 7:00PM at:

Chi St. Luke's Health Diagnostic and Treatment Center (Kirby Glen)

2457 South Braeswood Blvd.

Houston, TX 77030

Refreshments are provided and parking is free. Please park in the adjacent parking lot and enter through the main entrance of the Health and Diagnostic building.

This group is facilitated by Chaplain Gale Yandell, a breast cancer survivor, and she will be joined by oncology nurse practitioners Mari Rude (also a survivor) and/or Reida McDowell. Each program includes guest speakers and open discussion to share common experiences, concerns, and solutions in a supportive atmosphere.
